Taking the Night Bus in Seoul. 서울 심야버스를 이용해보자.

We all love to spend the night hanging out with friends.

Especially on a Friday night, who wants to go home?

But we do have to go home. We have work, school and etc.

Because we have this boring social activity called life.

We know it ourselves but we always end up drinking till midnight missing the last train or the bus and hate to pay for the taxi.

Seoul metro stops running at around 1 am during the weekdays and earlier for the weekends.

The bus runs a little more late but still, you are lost somewhere in the city.

For those of you wondering what to do, Seoul Night Bus is your ticket home.

From 2013, Seoul city has started running Night buses around the city for the major bus stations starting around the midnight till 4-5 am when the first bus of the day starts to run.

Currently there are 9 lines which operate throughout the city.

N13
N15
N16
N26
N30
N37
N61
N62
N65

The bus passes a station every 20 minutes and it costs 2150 won which is almost the double fee compared to the day rate but much better than the taxi, yeah?

If you transfer to another bus within 60 minutes of getting off one, free transfer is allowed without any extra charge.

For those who have arrived at the Incheon airport between the midnight and 5 am, there is also a Night Airport Bus Limousine which travels into the city during those hours.

You could refer to the airport website to check about the timings.

There are two Night Airport buses.

N6001 and N6000

N6001 starts from Incheon Airport Terminal to Seoul station.
It stops only at two stations, Songjeong 송정역 and Yeomchang 염창역, in between.

N6001 starts from Incheon Airport Terminal to Gangnam Bus Terminal.
It also stops only at two stations, Songjeong 송정역 and Yeomchang 염창역, in between.

It costs 16000 won and you can use the Metrocard(T money) or pay by cash.
